The ultra-high-pressure pumps of the Y-series are particularly compact. Due to the small size and low weight, they can be easily installed in units with very small base frames. With operating pressures of up to 1,000 bar, the Y-series pumps are ideally suited to a wide variety of cleaning work, e.g., in the chemical industry, oil and gas industries, as well as in the area of ship cleaning.
The sealing water system prevents leakage, enables especially high durability of the high-pressure seals, and counteracts the ingress of air. As an option, pumps of the Y-series are fitted with suction valve lifts. This elegant alternative to a bypass valve allows the water to circulate without pressure in the pump head when the water tool is not actuated. Equipped with coated steel plungers, the pump is highly resistant to wear and thermal shocks. Ceramic plungers are also available for the Y-series, which are highly resistant to acidic and basic liquids.
