Safetech’s ongoing partnership with global mining vehicle brands continues with our latest Vehicle mounted EWP collaboration, this time with Drivetrain Power Systems.

This unit will be used in underground mines to provide workers with a secure and trustworthy platform for all their overhead maintenance tasks.

For this project, Drivetrain have chosen the Kovatera KT200 platform to serve as the base for Safetech’s custom-designed triple scissor EWP.

The simple but durable chassis made the scissor lift Integration easy, both electronically and mechanically.

The scissor lift includes both onboard and base controls, rear stabilisers to level out the Vehicle on uneven terrain and provide rigidity during operation.

The handrails can be manually lowered for transit and provide a secure barrier while raised.

Other features include:

Onboard work light
Visual level indicator
Onboard engine starters
E-stops as standard
Stainless Steel components for environmental protection.
