The WIDOS WELDit 315 is a solid butt-fusion welder with an operating range of Ø 90-315mm. It features a classic 4-ring design and consists of a welded base frame with solid clamping rings made of aluminium. For clamping moulded parts, the inner clamping ring can be moved on the guide shafts and coupled to the fixed or moving part of the machine. The clamps are equipped with knurled handles for easy and quick fixing of the welded parts and can also be retightened with tools for high welding forces. An integrated puller device allows for releasing the heating plate from the molten pipe ends during change-over.

A compact, high-performance hydraulic unit is used as the drive, which is optimally protected against humidity, dust and dirt thanks to its closed housing. With the adjustment valve and large pressure display (with bar and PSI scale), welding pressures can be set precisely. It contains the connections for the heating element and planer, as well as an additional switch for actuating the planer drive.

The high-quality heating element features a non-stick coating and sturdy handle. The integrated, digital temperature controller has an easy-to-read display.

The planer has a high-torque electric drive and is built with a very robust housing. The cutting blades can be easily replaced. An additional switch is available on the planer to prevent an involuntary start-up.

The storage case for the planer and heating element is lined with a non-fraying protective cover, used for thermal insulation of the heating plate, and prevents mechanical damage when hinging and unhinging.
