Application directions:

Substrate preparation

The surface must be clean, and free from all loose particles, including dust, laitance, grease, and coatings, curing compounds or any other foreign matter. Where boards are used, these are to be fixed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and are to be fit for purpose. Apply suitable and approved joint caulking material such as Enviro Seal PUR and allow curing before application of Enviro Prime SB, to all joints and cracks greater than 2mm.

Application

Enviro Prime SB can be applied using brush or roller. Apply one coat of Enviro Prime SB at a rate of 5 – 8m² per litre to the prepared substrate. Allow to dry before proceeding with topcoats.

Estimating data (theoretical)

The consumption of Enviro Prime SB will depend upon substrate condition and type. As a guide: One 4 litre pail of Enviro Prime SB will cover approximately 20 – 32m² based on one coat at rate of 5 – 8m² per litre.

Packaging

Enviro Prime SB is supplied in, 15 litre, 4 litre and 1 litre pails.

Curing

Enviro Prime SB generally can be recoated after 1 hour depending on the weather.

Shelf life

Enviro Prime SB should be removed from all tools and equipment, prior to hardening with Enviro Thinners No.1 or Thinners No.7. Cured material can only be mechanically removed.

Safety advice

Enviro Prime SB contents are flammable. Keep away from naked flame. In the event of fire extinguish with foam or CO2. Always provide adequate ventilation and wear appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) during use. Avoid breathing vapours. Avoid contact with skin. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Instead give a glass of water and seek immediate medical advice. If contact with skin is made, wash off splashes of material with clean water and soap. If irritation occurs seek immediate medical advice. Refer to MSDS.
