The T555III utilizes SmartTEC software, available on all Vermeer TEC® Plus computer-aided control system-equipped machines, which helps optimize productivity with real-time machine control prompts. The T555III trencher is available with a 4-ft, 5-ft, 6-ft or 8-ft (1.2-m, 1.5-m, 1.8-m or 2.4-m) trencher boom capable of trenching widths up to 24 in (61 cm). The tractor is also available with a hydrostatic rockwheel attachment which is able to cut depths up to 36 in (91.4 cm) in some of the toughest rock conditions.
