The smallest of the Tomcat gravity self-feeding machines, this best-in-class chipper boasts a heavy-duty cutting drum with a chipping capacity of 120 mm in diameter, making it extremely popular amongst arborists, garden service and equipment hire companies. The powerful 14hp engine provides the optimal power and the wide inlet chute is designed for optimal feeding of heavier branches and bushy foliage. Agile and easy to move around, the slim design on the CDT trolley model allows it to get through narrow gates and into back gardens. The CDE model is built on a standard road towable trailer.

The 100 series is powered by the impressive 14hp Honda GX390 engine, and together with Honda we have undertaken a rigorous engine testing program to ensure the capabilities of the 100 series is perfectly balanced with the power output of the Honda GX390. This provides peace of mind with the longevity and high performance of both the chipper and engine.

Delivering exceptional performance when it comes to self-feeding,  the 42kg cutting drum rotates at 2000 RPM creating heaps of kinetic energy. The precisely engineered cutting angle of the blade pulls foliage into the cutting chamber at over 80 linear meters per minute. The outlet chute rotates 360 degrees making easy for the operator to chip into a trailer, ute, truck or stockpile.

Engineered and manufactured in South Africa using the highest quality components and material. The easy start centrifugal clutch engages the belts between the engine and cutting drum for smooth running and protects the engine components against shock loading.

Extremely low on servicing and maintenance and all components are locally accessible. The two high tensile steel blades have a notable durability and can be resharpened multiple times, and accessing the belts is as easy as simply removing the belt guard.
