Protec Grape Sorting Equipment | X-Tri
How X-Tri works: grapes exiting the destemmers are distributed on the vibrating belt feeding the optical unit belt. The optical sensor detects the various defects (leaves, stems, insects and foreign bodies) and rejects them with a jet of air. The good product is unloaded directly into the crushing unit for subsequent processing. The optical system also detects unripe grapes (of different color), that can be removed along with the other defects. The defects destined for removal can be set via the touch-screen. The X-Tri line handles up to about 15 t/h of grapes. Capacity is relative to many factors, such as the type of grape, the degree of ripeness, the quantity of defects etc.
