The Fero wriggle bolt has been specifically designed for use in long-term or permanent strata reinforcing of underground mining and tunnelling excavations. This system is highly effective for operations requiring the advantages of resin anchors.

It is Fero’s unique wriggle system that makes this bolt so effective. The distorted or wriggled section of the bolt increases the effective diameter of the bolt in order to maximise load transfer and assist in resin mixing.

The end-shear assembly assists in shredding resin packaging to eliminate gloving. The wriggle section of the bolt assists in mixing the two component polyester resin capsules – resulting in a solid anchor and additional load transfer.

Fero Wrigglebolts are offered with a continuous hot rolled T20 or T25 thread over the entire length of the bar or with a rolled 250mm left hand M24 thread.
