GH Cranes recently introduced their most technologically advanced wire rope hoist to the market. The key design specifications for the hoist were to increase safety, reliability, performance and life span, whilst reducing maintenance requirements. The hoist motion is controlled by an electronic frequency inverter which reduces shock loading on all structural and mechanical components, all whilst managing acceleration and deceleration. Also fitted to the hoist is a comprehensive condition monitoring unit, and when combined with GH’s remote radio control system, it provides instant load display, operating hours, load spectrum, and remaining hoist life information.
