Gas Detection | Bump Test Station (BTS) ...
Bump Testing can be defined as the "process of applying a calibration gas mixture to an instrument and allowing the instrument to respond to the gas and for the instrument alarms (audible/visual/vibration) to engage".
Applying a gas mixture to an instrument is the only way to be sure the gas detection instrument will respond to a gas exposure in the field.
The CAC-BTS Series are wall mounted bump test stations designed to simplify the process of gas testing instruments.
Available as 1, 2 or 3 gas stations, the BTS is programmable for the length of time the gas flows (1-60 seconds) and the flow rate. Once these are determined, the box is locked and all the worker has to do is push the green button to have the gas flow to their instrument for a quick bump test.
The one-button operation makes the Bump Test Station simple to use and increases worker compliance.
The CACBTS-101(single), CACBTS-201(dual) and now the CACBTS-301(three) channel systems are available for use with 60 litre, 103 litre or 112 litre cylinders with all gas mixtures.
