Flexim Fluxus Thermal Energy Flow Meters ...
Flexim’s clamp on flow meter, the FLUXUS® F721, is the most versatile meter in the marketplace today.
The FLUXUS® F721 Clamp On Flow Meter is designed to withstand harsh, rugged environments. Stainless steel encloses the transducers and the transducer cable; it is also used for the mounting fixture. The transducers are hermetically sealed – there are no weak connection points. The flow computer is enclosed in a robust metal housing, making the clamp on flow meter completely water tight (IP65/67).
Due to its matched and paired transducers as well as temperature compensation (complying with ANSI/ASME regulations), the clamp on flow meter reads zero from the outset, and holds zero for the lifetime of the measurement. Dual microprocessors provide advanced signal evaluation at an extremely high number of measuring cycles per second (up to 1000Hz). All of this means the clamp on flow meter produces stable, reliable flow metering, even under dynamic and difficult conditions.
Using ultrasonic gel to couple the transducers to the pipe is a thing of the past – the transducers can now use an everlasting Viton pad, meaning there is literally no maintenance requirements!
Clamp On Flow Meters are ideal for chemically aggressive or toxic fluids – with the measurement being completely non-invasive, there is no chance of leakage.
The Flexim FLUXUS F721 clamp on flow meter is completely configurable with a wide range of electrical outputs and inputs. Parameters such as temperature, pressure, RPM etc can all be connected into the flow computer, for further calculations such as thermal energy flow, mass flow and density. Process outputs include 4-20mA, relay, Modbus RTU and HART.
The FLUXUS® F721 clamp on flow meter is also available in an IECEX Zone 2 version, for use in hazardous areas. FLEXIM also offers liquid flow meters for usage in IECEX Zone 1 environments.
