In its base package, the metal detector offers a huge 7” easy-to-use touchscreen interface, multiple preprogrammed languages, easy setup and reporting, multiple USB and interface ports, remote access and the standard high-pressure wash down design.

Pharmaceutical

Designed to inspect tablets and capsules that are gravity fed from the tablet press. This highly sensitive compact designed metal detector system meets stringent FDA standards and accommodates space - restricted areas within tablet and encapsulation rooms. Eriez' pharmaceutical unit has been engineered with an adjustable sensing head and has one of the largest and easiest to clean product chutes in the industry to optimize efficiency. The adjustable support stand comes with casters and is manufactured from 304 stainless steel.

Liquid Line

Designed for liquids, pastes, slurries or other viscous products where high-sensitivity metal detection is required. The system can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Available in pipe sizes 1.5”-4” diameter. When metal is detected in the product flow, a reject signal is channeled to one of the available output relays. The output relay can be used to activate a ball valve, control a visual or audio alarm, or send a signal to a PLC.

Vertical, Form, Fill & Seal (VFS)

Designed to mount into space-restricted areas below Vertical Form and Fill machines. With its innovative design, the VFS Metal Detector connects to a customer's existing stainless steel hopper and forming tube with simple Jacobs connectors.

This compact unit requires no metal-free area above or below the sensing head. Its control circuitry allows for instantaneous electronic recovery from phase adjustments, as well as field switchable narrow zone/wide zone detection capabilities. The Eriez VFS Metal Detector is suitable for washdown, and features food grade pipe and stainless steel construction. The VFS is excellent for detection & removal of ferrous, non-ferrous & stainless metal contaminants in products prior to final packaging.
