Coupling Range - HRC - Jaw - Tyre - Gear
HRC couplings are general purpose Flexible coupling available in eight sizes in taper bush style or pilot bore.
Features:
Bore and Key available when you buy all power transmission products.
The Tyre coupling is primarily designed to allow for misalignment both angular and parallel and compensates for end float.
Features:
The Tyre coupling is primarily designed to allow for misalignment both angular and parallel and compensates for end float. Torsional vibration is reduced and shock loads minimised by the flexing body. The coupling has been successfully subjected, under normal circumstances, to angular misalignment up to 4º, parallel misalignment up to 3mm and end float up to 8mm. The design of the coupling, having a flexing member with remarkable durability, suppresses the initial shock load and eliminates to a marked degree the stresses common to power driven machinery. Tyres are available in natural rubber and F.R.A.S.
Tyre Couplings are highly flexible. Consisting of two flanges, the two halves are joined by a rubber tyre. The tyre itself is torsionally soft and flexible; this allows the Tyre Coupling to compensate for large amounts of shock loading the backlash, as well as both parallel and axial misalignments.
Highly Flexible
Compensates for misalignment, up to; 4 deg angular, 6mm parallel, 8mm axial.
Torsional flexibility of up to; 12, at max. torque.
Jaw Couplings are highly resilient, it does not require any lubrication and can work in environments contaminated with oil, dirt, sand, moisture and grease. The Taper Lock version of our jaw coupling makes this coupling even more versatile.
Features:
Jaw couplings are three piece couplings comprised of two hubs and an elastic element. The spider, made of an advanced polyurethane material, provides dampening of impulse loads, minimizing shock to the motor and other sensitive equipment.
Available in two shore hardness's, these spiders allow the user to customize the jaw coupling's performance. Selecting a soft spider will give the greatest dampening characteristics, while a hard spider will provide the greatest torsional stiffness and strength. All spiders are press fit onto a curved jaw profile, assuring zero backlash operation.
Gear coupling consists of the internal spur gears in its sleeves and the external spur gears with crowned teeth on its hubs, both of which are in mesh when assembled. At the tooth section of the hub, the tooth surface is crowned and the tooth top is rounded in the axial direction in order to prevent interference at the tooth section when they are operated in eccentric condition.
If it is properly mounted without any displacement, the external tooth comes in contact with the mating internal tooth at the middle of the crowned portion (RO) and if it is mounted with offset and angular displacement, the former will come in contact with the latter at a point distant from the middle of the crowned portion.
