CHRONOS Automatic Bag Opening Machine | ...
Since the 1980s, we have been designing and supplying automatic bag emptying systems. Our product range now includes two models: the K400 and the K600.
The K400 can open up to 400 bags per hour and requires an operator to introduce bags one at a time using a vacuum lifter or a robot depalletizing system.
The K600 can open up to 600 bags per hour for higher capacity needs. Its efficient infeed system allows for loading entire pallets of bags onto a conveyor, which tilts to remove them layer by layer and feeds them into the opener. Once the bags are emptied, the pallets are collected, and a full stack can be effortlessly removed all at once.
The two systems operate on identical principles when opening and separating materials from bags.
Bags are conveyed to the infeed chute and then slide through rotating blades. Before entering the trommel drum, they are slit lengthwise.
The trommel drum, a perforated cylinder, gently tumbles the slit bags, allowing the materials to pass through the perforations into the feed hopper below.
After that, the material passes towards the waste bag compactor to be compressed into a sealed "sausage" type bag for easy and hygienic disposal.
