CFIS Pressure Switch
CFIS industrial pressure and temperature swiches may be sealed for environmental protection. They are vibration resistant and ruggedly built to provide reliable protection or automatic control of processes and equipment.
Designed for direct or remote mounting on equipment, they offer a low cost solution to most control requirements.
The industrial microswitch models offer a special differential adjustable microswitch rated at 20 amps. This precision, snap-action switch meets or exceeds most industrial and military specifications for reliability, electrical capacity and long life.
All switches are adjustable within their specified operating range. At the adjusted set point the snap-action switch is operated by the cartridge mechanism, and the circuit is either closed or opened depending on the desired wiring.
The adjustable deadband determines the point at which the switch returns to its pre-selected position. The range of deadband (differential) adjustment will depend upon the set point of the switch. This range will be approximately 10% to 25% of the set point value depending upon the spring rate at that particular setting.
The standard housing of the switch is reinforced nylon, which, when closed with weatherproof electrical contact are in conformance with NEMA 13 specifications.
