The touchscreen data logger ALMEMO®710 can connect to and evaluate all new (D7) as well as existing sensors. ALMEMO® V7 connector/plug allows to process up to 10 channels for measured values and function settings including multi-value sensors (e.g. Meteo sensors) and to connect external devices such as complex chemical analysers and energy analysers.
Sensors using analog signals pass via the integrated high-speed, high-resolution A/D converter in ALMEMO® 710. Digital D6 and the latest digital D7 sensors transfer their measured values to the measuring instrument direct in digital form. The measuring instrument supports all ALMEMO® plug connectors and sensor functions. Digital D6 / D7 sensors can be configured directly via the touchscreen.Measured values can be displayed with up to 8 digits (depending on range) and the units with up to 6 characters. Sensor designation can be up to 20 characters.
The ALMEMO® 710 is contemporary and compelling, having a generous brightly illuminated 5.7-inch colour graphics display for all measured values and functions as well as equipped with a software wizard and online help via popup windows in a clear presentation which enables the ease of use. By touching the icons on the screen, data logger can be turned on/off and switching between menus in the straightforward guidance system. Measured values, peak values, average values, and limit values can all be displayed in an easy-to-understand way in various forms, namely list, bar chart, or line graph (up to 4 lines).
Users can also configure their own customized user menus to display those parameters required by a particular application. ALMEMO® 710 can be rail mounted to suit both fixed and mobile applications.
All measurement data can either be stored in an 8MB flash memory or extended onto a plug-in micro SD card that allows 1000 measurements per second measuring speed and for autonomous long-term monitoring the data logger can also be run in energy-saving sleep mode. Measuring data can be downloaded to a PC. 10 independent measurement inputs allow for a huge variety of different sensor types apart from the range of special designed ALMEMO® 710 digital sensors.
The instrument possesses the latest equipment technology in an attractive desktop housing with an impact protective rubber coating for field measurements made in difficult industrial environments without error.
This device can be used in various ways, in mobile applications or as a desktop unit, on a folding stand or as a stationary unit in a wall-mounted housing. It incorporates a powerful chargeable lithium battery to ensure a long time operation.
N.B. ALMEMO® 710 will be available on the market from next month (September, 2013).
