AllScan Online Elemental Analysers
Continuous elemental analysis for confident, data driven mining decisions
The AllScan Cf252 is a proven elemental analyser that provides reliable, continuous measurement of bulk materials using PGNAA. Built for demanding mining environments and backed by RTI’s Material Intelligence Partner service model, the AllScan Cf252 gives operations the confidence to understand material composition at every touchpoint.
By measuring the full depth and width of the material stream, the AllScan delivers true whole-stream elemental information in real time. This enables operators to reduce variability, optimise blending, prevent out-of-spec ore, and make faster, more confident process control decisions.
Real time elemental analysis using PGNAA
The AllScan Cf252 measures Fe, Al, Si, K, S, Ti, Ca and many other elements across the full cross section of the material flow . It detects highly sensitive elements such as Fe, S, Ca, Hg and Ti with exceptional accuracy.
Designed for demanding industrial environments
The analyser operates efficiently in outdoor mining environments from –10°C to +50°C with high dust, humidity, or precipitation, with all sensitive parts fully sealed .
Suitable for high throughput applications
With tunnel apertures sized to suit belts from 750 mm to 2400 mm and robust frame design, the AllScan Cf252 is ideal for conveyors carrying up to 500 tonnes per hour (typical for these belt widths), maintaining accurate elemental analysis without requiring a belt weigher.
Stable performance with smaller radioactive source
Using a 20–30 µg Cf-252 source with periodic top-ups, the analyser provides continuous performance with low radiation exposure levels (<5 µSv/h externally, ~1.3 µSv/h at operator walkways) .
Integrated moisture measurement
Moisture and BTU measurement are included as standard, reducing the need for separate sensors and simplifying calibration and maintenance .
Sample temperature suitability: –10°C to +50°C
(as defined in the environmental operating range)
Sample throughput: Ideal for typical mining conveyors up to ~500 tph (based on standard 750–2400 mm belt widths)
Preferred operating environment: High dust, high moisture, outdoor industrial conveyors
Analysis type: Continuous elemental analysis for bulk material processing using PGNAA
Ore feed control
Grade management and stockpile building
Process optimisation and recovery improvement
Shipment quality verification
Blending and homogenisation
Coal BTU and sulfur monitoring
Iron ore, bauxite, copper, coal, manganese and multi-element analysis
Whole stream measurement for improved decision making
PGNAA technology measures every tonne, providing a complete representation of material composition and removing the uncertainty of manual sampling.
Improved operational certainty
Operators rapidly detect deviations, reduce out-of-spec shipments, and optimise blending and process stability.
Fast installation and minimal infrastructure changes
The AllScan mounts directly to existing conveyor support rails, with flexible tunnel heights and no belt scale required.
Backed by RTI’s Material Intelligence Partner service model
From calibration to optimisation, RTI provides continuous remote support, guided diagnostics, and data insights to ensure long term system performance.
