Telford Smith manufacture a range of high quality components for the extrusion, injection and blow moulding machines. A complete range of non driven, and driven, ring check valves and ball check valves are available.

All Ring Check Valve assemblies are manufactured from high grade alloy steel, which is hardened and nitrided for maximum service life. 

Check rings are precision ground to finished diameter ensuring a close tolerance fit with the barrel bore, this reduces back flow over the ring ensuring consistent shot rate and volume. Telford Smith can manufacture components to order from a customer sample or drawing. If these options are not possible we can draw on our extensive data base to establish an appropriate design.

Telford Smith manufactures nozzles to suit any injection moulding machine. In addition, we offer spring or hydraulically actuated shut off nozzles with mixing elements or melt filters.

Shut-off Nozzles

Many injection moulding applications require positive melt shut off between cycles to reduce material losses, contamination and machine downtime caused by melt drool and sprue stringing. Drawing on our experience with a wide variety of injection moulding applications, Telford Smith offers simple, reliable, wear resistant designs to meet your needs.

Tie bars form moulding machines

Tie bars of any size can be made to order. Surface finish can be ground, flame hardened and ground, or ground and hard chrome plated. Tie bar nuts can also be supplied.

Our manufacturing facility is equipped to achieve the most exacting tolerances on finished sizes irrespective of tie bar design, make, model or origin.
