ThermPro Food Pasteuriser
THERMPRO HTST PASTUERISERS & STERILIZERS (also known as High Temperature-Short Time Pasteurisers) are designed to flash pasteurise food and beverage products, to retain maximum colour and flavour, whilst destroying or deactivating organisms and enzymes that contribute to spoilage.
Thermpro HTST Pasteurisers can utilze any of Teralba Industries innovative heat exchanger systems, including:
These Australian designed and manufactured pasteurisers often incorporate a combination of heat exchangers for heating and cooling media, to provide a complete turnkey package. Alternatively, the pasteurizing system can be connected to your sites service such as steam, chilled water and glycol.
Energy recovery is included in most Teralba Pasteurisers and typically uses indirect regeneration to maintain absolute integrity of product. This allows for upto 90% of energy to be reused which reduces the overall energy consumption and maximizes the ROI (return on investment).
Thermpro Pasteuriser control systems can be as automated and complex as a customer or application requires. Alternatively small scale pasteurisers may have relatively manual functionality, allowing the pasteuriser operator a great deal of flexibility. Sophisticated Thermpro Pasteuriser Systems incorporate remote access, allowing Teralba technicians and mechatronics engineers, to finetune the operation of the pasteuriser, or to trouble shoot any issues, remotely.
CIP – Automated Pasteuriser Cleaning:
If the pasteuriser incorporates Dimpleflo or Coilflo Heat Exchangers which are designed to be self-draining then cleaning of the pasteuriser and hold tubes will be comparatively straight forward. The Dimple Profile (Link) induces significant turbulence into the fluid streams and (besides increasing heat transfer rates) has a “self-scouring effect which radically reduces fouling. Auomating the CIP of the pasteuriser removes operator error when it comes to ensuring the machine is clean for food or beverage products. Simply press start and a Thermpro pasteuriser can clean itself.
Pasteuriser and process options:
A Batch Mixing tank with powder blender emulsifier can be added for certain processes such as ice-cream manufacture.
Auxiliary equipment such as fillers and homogenisers can be integrated to the Thermpro pasteuriser.
Teralba can provide automation solutions to integrate equipment surrounding the Thermpro unit to reduce labour costs, remove human error and increase efficiency.
Pasteuriser Scheduled Maintenance:
Teralba Heat Exchanger Service Department (Link) offers scheduled servicing and maintenance on any pasteuriser to comply with site HACCP plans and Australian standard requirements. Our highly experienced heat exchanger service team services Australia and New Zealand and services includes temperature probe calibration, pressure testing, flow control checking, valve response checking, integrity testing and holding tube certification.
