Solid State Contactors 

Solid State Contactors are used to replace traditional contactors and are essentially SSR and heatsink, or AC switch. In order to be classed as a solid state contactor the Semicondcutor assembly needs to be rated for resisitve and inductive loads and rated for continuous operation in up to 50 Deg C ambient temperatures. 

We loosely refer to Solid State Contactors as suitable ruggedd solid state devices which can be used as a long term substitute for frequent switching contactors saving you ongoing costs and reliability issues.
