Fanquip partner with ventilation companiesAir movement and workplace environment specialist Fanquip has targeted mechanical ventilation companies as potential allies in the drive to overhaul longstanding but outdated, inadequate fan and purging technology in Australia.

By making alliances with like-minded mechanical ventilation experts, Fanquip is looking to help overhaul substandard fans equipment and systems which have been struggling in commercial, industrial and public premises.

Likely locations for overhauls include food processors, hospitals and medical centres, shopping centres, industrial premises, retail complexes, commercial units, residential blocks and car parks.

Fanquip’s concern is that too many existing ventilation systems have been running on equipment that is not suited to the demanding tasks; hence they are breaking down and lowering the OH&S levels on location.

As all its own fans are manufactured domestically for the industrial market, Fanquip is adamant its technology is more capable than some fans currently in use in handling even the most difficult duty cycles.

Another reason in its push for alliances with mechanical ventilation companies is because its Fanquip line of products is engineered to exceed the expectations the Basix Code around Australia.

Fanquip has been around for a long time and understands the efficiency and capability required to satisfy any Basix requirements in turnkey solutions.

Many mechanical installers in various industries have not yet heard of Fanquip because the company has not, until now, made a push to align with them.

But now that exhaust fan systems are more than ever required to remove stale air from all types of premises to meet environmental requirements and mandatory OH&S laws, the timing is right for an industrial expert to meet market demand.

Energy efficiency is also a key requirement by which mechanical ventilation experts have to abide. In particular, there is strong expectation to install an exhaust fan system fitout that uses low energy and returns high efficiency, combined with the necessary electronics to phase products in and out – something Fanquip has as a standard in all its projects.
