This rugged, small form factor mission computer is designed for extreme rugged and MIL-AERO applications. It uses an Acromag COM Express Type 6 product platform with High Performance Intel Processors. With FPGA and a high speed graphics card to provide the ultimate in high speed video transfer.

Ideal for Defence & Aerospace deployable systems such as: vetronics, C4ISR, payload management and command & control for drones and robotics.

The Acromag ARCX-4000 is a small rugged embedded computer. Firstly, it contains a 4th Generation Intel Core™ i7 CPU, removable drives and contains PMC/XMC module expansion slots. This product is perfect as a portable data acquisition system in an aircraft by adding a 1553 interface board to a dual unit. Also, multi sensor monitoring on mobile applications available by adding a CAN bus interface.

By using the reliable Intel multi core processors this product has enhanced capabilities. Such as floating point intensive computations, media, graphics and security. Along with better power efficiency that reduces heat and allows lighter designs giving added portability.

Rugged Military Design

Secondly, this mission computer is designed & tested to meet IP67 ratings and is sealed to provide protection from dust and limited immersion. With advanced thermal management, this computer can withstand extended temperatures. Tested to Shock and Vibration MIL-STD-810 specifications.

The front panel offers 38999 type high speed connectors for I/O Interfacing. Designed to meet requirements of MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-1275. The optional removable solid state drives allows for a variety of configurations. Including quick security access plus loading operating system on one drive and collecting from the other.

Customisable Expansion

Thirdly, the ARCX provides offers excellent flexibility to meet the everchanging requirements for long term applications. PMC, XMC, Mini PCIe and mSATA slots allow addition of specialised I/O, storage and FPGA Modules.

The ARCX offers great flexibility to meet ever-changing requirements for long-term applications with its customizable-off-the-shelf (COTS) design.
