HLP Medical Supplies has become a very significant producer of PPE face shields to be used by healthcare and other essential workers since the outbreak of COVID-19. We’ve re-purposed much of our manufacturing capabilities, and have daily production capacity to make 800,000 face shields. Plus, we keep significant inventories overseas in both Europe United States and Australia.
As the world’s largest producer of retail plastic folding boxes, we are uniquely qualified to produce face shields. We manufacture them using the same raw materials, technology and equipment as we do for our plastic packaging and, since the onset of COVID-19, we’ve supplied over 100 million face shields to government and medical agencies in the Europe, United States, Asia and Australia.
Our face shields have been third-party certified to satisfy the European EN 166:2001, U.S. ANSI Z87.1-2015, TGA standards for eye protection from droplets and splash, and the CE health, safety and environmental protection standards. Our face shields are also Class I medical devices.
In addition to our ready-to-wear face shield, we also offer framed face shields, chin shields and other new designs under developing. All the styles are economical, lightweight, fit over glasses or masks, and comply with European, United States and Australian standards.
Aligned with and joined hands for sustainability worldwide, we also employ post-consumer waste (PCW) to manufacture our products. We have the unique advantage of manufacturing our raw material which is GRS and SCS certified. We are passionate about providing sustainable solutions and are trying to encourage companies to join the zero waste revolution and make changes now! By using PCW material and by inspiring others to do the same we can create a higher demand for PCW in the marketplace. This will help make PCW more readily available and help divert waste from landfills, oceans and prevent it from affecting human health. Our products can be made from 50% to 100% post-consumer waste.
