Anton Paar Microwave Digestion System - ...
The Multiwave GO Plus microwave digester combines the advantages of single-mode and multi-mode microwave digestion systems in the patented Directed Multimode Cavity (DMC). Up to 12 samples can be digested simultaneously. Optimized heating and cooling ensures fast digestions, but also a high throughput, even with a smaller number of vessels. Single-Vessel Mode enables optimal method optimization and can be used for low-throughput applications. SmartVent technology allows perfect reaction control and easy handling of the digestion vessels.
The patented Directed Multimode Cavity (DMC) of the Multiwave GO Plus microwave digester combines the advantages of monomode (fast heating) and multimode microwave digestion systems (digestion of more than one sample at a time). Fast cooling is achieved by the perfect interplay between rotor, vessels (with cooling fins), and the built-in exhaust system. This ensures rapid cooling from 180 °C to 70 °C in less than eight minutes – perfectly designed for EPA-methods. This makes Multiwave GO Plus the most efficient oven-based microwave digestion system on the market.
Overpressure generated during digestion is removed by SmartVent technology, allowing higher sample loads without compromising reaction control. SmartVent technology ensures higher temperatures and various samples in one run. The temperature of each vessel is measured independently, allowing for precise reaction control. The three-part vessel design allows easy and tool-free handling of the digestion vessel with a built-in closing point detection and a long service life. The vessel surfaces are optimized on the inside ensuring less adsorption and easy cleaning as well as offering cooling fins on the outside for the best cooling performance and an overall compact design.
The compact design and the utilization of a single magnetron results in the smallest footprint on the market, saving expensive lab space without compromising the throughput. Tool-free vessel handling, a lightweight rotor (<5 kg fully loaded) and an intuitive software make Multiwave GO Plus the easiest to use microwave digester on the market. The available Pharma Qualification Package even relieves you of the tedious documentation work.
The Multiwave GO Plus microwave digester is designed to digest a huge variety of samples. These include food and feed, environmental samples, aqueous samples as well as easy to digest plastics and polymers.
Preinstalled generic methods simplify the work needed for method development. Routine testing methods like EPA 3015A, EPA 3051A or EPA 3052 are preinstalled and simplify the overall workflow in laboratories.
In addition to microwave digestion of routine samples, microwave-assisted acid leaching can also be performed for both large and small sample volumes of organic and inorganic matrices.
